"King Theoden was the ruler of Rohan and he ruled his lands from the Golden Hall in Edoras.
When Gandalf arrived in the Golden Hall to urge King Theoden to fight Saruman, he did not receive the welcome he had hoped
for. Wormtongue, a spy of Saruman, had been whispering evil counsel in the ear of the King for a long time and the king had
lost all his powers. Gandald revived him however and remembered him of the strenght he still possesed. Wormtongue was dismissed
and King Theoden rode out once again to fight the enemy. His greatest deeds were done during the battle on the Pelennor fields
where he stood vast and challenged the Lord of the Nazgul. His horse however could not stand the terror of the Lord of the
Nazgul and fell upon King Theoden crushing him to death. Thus King Theoden died heroically on March 15, 3019. "
